If you're looking for a good story, this isn't the show for you. The ending was OK but just didn't have the emotional impact that the creator probably intended it to. The characters overall show zero development and some of the characters could even be consideredextras. This is possibly one of the coolest shows I've ever seen. I definitely know its one of the coolest animes I've had spinning in my dvd player. Its the reason animation shouldn't be taken lightly, its the reason American animation will probably never rise above the original Batman Animated Series. Its the reason I'm out of Two hundred bucks and two whole days of my life. Did I mention I love the show. Here some reasons I love the show. Yoko Kanno's bizzare and off the wall musical score, mixing classical, jazz, and J-Pop combines with the images to provide a truly pleasing entertainment. In other more simplified words, IT FLAT OUT ROCKS!!!! The synthesis of american music, Japanese Animation, and Chinese Action blend together seemlessly to create one kickass show. Cool writing that seems to want to draw in more than the regular anime crowd. And Mad Pierrot Le Fou. Was it or was this the series best episodes. I definitely thought it had one of the best villans of any medium of entertainment. So after all my mad ranting and raving all I can say is, see this show before its too late.
